Happy Halloween Everyone! Dramatic Eye Make Up and Bold Lips!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!
Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a brilliant half term and have enjoyed the holidays. I will be posting new blog posts every Saturday till the end of the year and then in January I am hoping to post at least 2 times a week. I have lots of ideas and blog posts planned for the future but if you have any good ideas or posts you would like to see then please comment them below, thank you xxxxx

I wanted to try and create a bold make up look therefore I chose to use dark eye shadows and a bold volumising mascara in order to make sure my eyes stood out. I also went with a dramatic red lip as I think a red lip is perfect for making a make up look, look more dramatic. I wanted to try out a different kind of make up look as it's Halloween, I hope you all like it.

Products I used to create this look:
MAC Face and Body Foundation in the shade N2
Bare Minerals Eye Shadows in Tantalise and Apropos
Bare Minerals Bronzer in The High Dive
Bare Minerals Blush in The Natural High
Bare Minerals Highlighter in The Magic Moment
Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Alarm 170

My Top 8 Beauty Products under £15

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. I hit 8,000 page views the other day, I just want to say thank you to everyone who reads my blog posts. Thank you all so much!! Today I have decided to talk about my 8 favourite beauty products which are very affordable with all the products priced under £15. I have chosen my favourite make up products which I have been using these products for months and I love them!

The Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit - £6.49.
I love this product, I use the medium brown shade as my bronzer for my everyday make up look. I think all of the shades are perfect to create a natural contour. I bought this contour kit when I wanted to try contouring, I would definitely recommend this contour kit to someone who doesn't know much about contouring because I think this kit is so simple and easy to use.

Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara - £7.99.
I love this mascara, I think this mascara is very similar to Benefit's Roller Lash mascara, I have both mascara's and I think they are both amazing, but if you are looking for a cheaper option then this is one for you. The shape of the brush is very easy to use as it makes sure it reaches all of my lashes, however it has taken me a while to get this mascara perfect for me, to begin with I found my lashes were very clumpy and I really don't like clumpy mascara so I think if you don't go overboard on the amount you use then they will look great but if you put too much on, it might not look as nice. I have now mastered how many coats to put on in order to make my lashes look longer and fuller without making them look clumpy.

No7's Stay Perfect Eye Shadow in a dark brown/gold shade from Cappucino Trio - £7 and my No7 Instant Radiance Foundation in Cool Vanilla - £12.50.
This eye shadow is amazing, the colour lasts ages and is perfect for creating a glamorous bold make up look, I love creating a dark smoky eye make up look as I think this shade is gorgeous. I am definitely going to be using this shade from now up until Christmas in order to create some Autumn/Winter/Christmas make up looks. I also love this foundation, I have been using this foundation for ages and it's amazing. It looks so natural yet the coverage is amazing, it has a dewy finish which is my favourite. I love No7 products they are amazing quality and definitely worth the money.

My three favourite Revlon Lipsticks in the shades: Blushing Mauve, Wine with Everything and Love that Red - £7.99 each.
I think these lipsticks are gorgeous colours that are perfect for the winter months. The first shade Blushing Mauve is a gorgeous pinky nude colour perfect as an everyday lipstick shade as it's so natural looking. The second shade is Wine with Everything, this shade is a pinky red colour, this is a really nice colour that I have been wearing everyday for the last few weeks, I really like this shade as it's not to bright but perfect for a natural lip look. The third shade is Love that Red, I love this lipstick, this shade is a gorgeous red lipstick shade, I think this would be perfect to create a dramatic red lip look.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in the shade Alarm - £4.99.
I bought this lipstick a few months ago because I thought the shade was absolutely gorgeous, its a dark red colour and I think it will be perfect for the Winter months. I am really impressed with the quality of this lipstick because the colour lasts all day. I definitely want to buy more lipsticks from Rimmel as the quality is amazing!

Bare Minerals Colour Extravaganza Eye Look 2 - READY TO SHINE!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! This week has been amazing, on Wednesday my blog got over 200 pageviews, I honestly can't believe that it was read that many times in one day, it's unbelievable! Yesterday I created an amazing make up look, which I really liked, it was bit of different look for me, but I really liked it. I used my Bare Minerals Colour Extravaganza palette to create this gorgeous eye make up look, if you haven't read the other posts I have created about this palette and the first look I created  with this palette then check them out now.

The products used:
No 7 Instant Radiance Foundation in Cool Vanilla, I love this foundation, it's perfect for creating a gorgeous dewy make up look, I have been using this foundation for ages and I love it.
I then used my Bare Minerals Highlighter in The Magic Moment, Bronzer in The Ocean View and Blusher in The Natural High. I am loving using these products together at the minute, I think they look amazing! These products are from the Bare Minerals Gorgeously Glowing palette and the Beautifully Bronzed palette which I have done a Blog post on previously.
For my lips, I used one of my favourite lipsticks, a Revlon one in the shade Wine with Everything, this is a gorgeous red colour, I think this lipstick is perfect for this time of year.

For my eyes, I used three shades from the Bare Minerals Colour Extravaganza palette in order to create the perfect "Ready to Shine" eye make up look. I chose to create the "Ready to Shine" look which includes the eye shadows Chart Topper, Admire and Couture. These shades are perfect to create a subtle green smoky eye, they are quite earthy shades so perfect if you are wanting to create an natural smoky eye. I used my Bare Minerals Tapered Shadow and Crease Eye Shadow Brush to create this eye make up look. I then used my Benefit Roller Lash Mascara on my lashes, I love this mascara because its perfect for creating length and volume. I like to use this mascara when I'm going out because it creates a dramatic eye look.

Cheshire Oaks Outlet Purchases: MAC Face and Body Foundation and Clinique Skincare Products

Hiya everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic week, I'm so sorry I haven't been uploading regularly recently, I am hoping to go back to my schedule of posting on a Saturday next week. Last week, I went to the Cheshire Oaks outlet because I went to an open day at Chester University on Saturday so I thought going to Chester on Friday would be good as I was able to have a little shopping trip. I went to the Cheshire Oaks Outlet and I visited the Cosmetics Company Store which is where I bought a new foundation and some new skincare products.

The first product I bought was MAC's Face and Body Foundation, I have never used any MAC products before and I have been wanting to try this foundation for ages. There wasn't a massive choice of shades of foundation so I ended up getting one that was a little bit too light for me, but I used it the other day and I have to say it looks really natural looking. I am going to be using this foundation in my future make up blog posts so I will keep you updated on my thoughts and opinions on this foundation. I got the Face and Body Foundation in the shade N2, I also love the size of the foundation as its 50ml so I think this is going to last me ages, this foundation only cost me £15.50 which is £6.50 cheaper than it usually is in other shops so I would definitely recommend going to a shop like the Cosmetics Company Store if you are wanting to find a bargain.

I also bought some skincare products from Clinique, I am always wanting to try new skincare products and someone recommended Clinique's skincare range to me a few months ago so I've been wanting to try the new products for ages. I'm glad I got this gift set because the products are so gentle and make my skin feel amazing! The skincare gift set includes: Liquid Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion, Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion and a 7 Day Facial Scrub Cream, I used all of these products yesterday and I really like them, I was thinking of doing a post on them in a few weeks to see if I still like them and if I like them better than any other skincare products I have used previously. This gift set was also a really good price, it was £22.50 which is £7.50 cheaper than it usually is in other shops.

Please comment/tweet me if there are any MAC or Clinique or any other make up products you would like to recommend xxxxx

My Updated Skincare Routine

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic week, I can't believe its been 10 days since my last blog post, I've just been so busy but now I have organised my time better so I'm going to post another blog post at the weekend as well. Before I get in to this blog post, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who reads my blog, I hit 7,000 page views last week and I honestly can't believe it, if someone had said this time last year I wouldn't of believed them. Thank you all so much for the support xxxxxxx

Today I am going to do my skincare routine I have at the moment, I love looking after my skin and making sure I take all of my make up off everyday so I'm going to give you a little insight into my latest skincare routine.
First of all, before I talk about my skincare routine, I just wanted to say I have been really busy recently so sometimes I have been using make up wipes to remove my make up, I know they aren't the best thing to use but I always have a pack next to my bed to make sure I take all my make up off before bed because removing your make up is so important! I really like these ones from ASDA at the minute, I have a pack of the Sensitive ones and a pack of ones with Tea Tree, I love these wipes, they feel so gentle on my face.

My Latest Skincare Routine:

To begin with I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing water, I have been using this for ages, I love it. It's amazing at removing my make up even waterproof mascara, its also really gentle which is good because I have sensitive skin. One bottle lasts absolutely ages, I'm so impressed!! I then use the Simple's Purifying Cleansing Lotion which is incredible, my face feels so smooth after using this, I love Simple's products, they are one of my favourite skincare brands. After that I use my favourite Toner which is the Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner, this is one of the best toners I have ever used, I would also recommend the Simple facial toner because that is really nice as well. Then I use moisturiser, I actually have two favourite moisturisers which I switch between: Simple's Hydrating Light Moisturiser, this is a very light moisturiser, perfect for sensitive skin and Boots Essentials Moisturising Cream, I bought this at the airport before I went on holiday and to begin with I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not because it's a really thick and creamy moisturiser but I really like it, its so gorgeous and moisturising.

What are your favourite skincare products??? Comment below xxx
