BIRCHBOX REVIEW - JUNE 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing weekend!! A few weeks ago I did a blogpost on my first ever Birchbox, and I loved the feedback I received on that post! I love Birchbox, they are a monthly subscription service where subscribers receive beauty products such as makeup, skincare and haircare products! I did a poll a few days ago and this post was the most popular so I hope you all enjoy this blog post and thanks so much to everyone who voted!!

1. Stila - Lip Glaze (worth £15)

This product is absolutely lovely, it's so glossy and moisturising, this is the product I have used the most since receiving this box. I love trying new lip glosses and I have wanted to try lip products from Stila for absolutely ages so I was so happy to receive one in this months box. The colour of this lip glaze is absolutely gorgeous, it's a shimmery coral peach colour which is so lovely as it's so glossy and shimmery!! To apply this product, I had to twist the bottom of the product for a while to release the product, this is good as it means not much product is wasted as it is easier to watch how much product you should use. The only thing about this product is only half of the applicator is filled with lip glaze therefore you don't get a lot of the product so I would love it if it included more product as I have used quite a lot of this product and I don't want it to run out quickly. Although I have to say I would definitely buy this product again as I love the colour and it's so moisturising. One thing I like about this product is it also contains vitamins A, C and E to keep my lips moisturised throughout the day.

2. Percy and Reed - Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hairspray (worth £12)

I don't really use many hair products often therefore when I received this product I was unsure when to use it as I don't really style my hair regularly, however I recently curled my hair and sprayed this product after to keep the curls intact, I really like this product as its easy to brush through my hair after applying this product and helps to keep my hair styled all day! I have had a few products from Percy and Reed in the past and I have absolutely loved them, so I was so happy to receive a product from this brand as the quality is always amazing, I would definitely recommend this brand for hair styling products, their products are amazing and so simple and easy to use.

3. BioNike - Defence Tolerance Essential Cleansing Water (worth £12.50)

I love trying new skincare brands therefore I was so happy to receive this product, I received an amazing exfoliating cleansing product last month so I was happy to receive another cleanser like this cleansing water product. This product is so gentle and leaves my skin feeling amazing, this product smells lovely and is great to use after removing my makeup. I would definitely recommend cleansing water to anyone as this product is so gentle and I only have to use a small amount. This product is amazing as it leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and very refreshed.

4. Monu Professional Skincare - MONUSpa Warming Ginger Body Oil (worth £29.95)

This product looks amazing and smells divine, this product is so nice. I've only used it once therefore I can't wait to use this product again, I liked it before as it leaves my skin feeling amazing. This product is great as it's so gentle and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. I think this is amazing as this product is organic and full of vitamins in order to leave your skin feeling incredible, I can't wait to use this product again!

5. Pure and Light Organic Skincare - Essential Face Cream (worth £29)

This product is absolutely lovely, I have been using this face cream a lot recently and I have to say I love it!! This face cream leaves my skin feeling so smooth and super soft, this product is so rich therefore I only have to use a small amount. I love trying different moisturisers and this is one of my favourite face creams, I absolutely love this face cream as it leaves my face feeling so smooth! Although this face cream is quite expensive, I do think I will purchase this product as I really like it and it leaves my skin feeling amazing!!

MY FIRST EVER BIRCHBOX REVIEW - MAY 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have been wanting to subscribe to a beauty box subscription for ages and the other day I was having a look on the internet and I came across Birchbox. I love trying new products and the Birchbox website was so informative on what products the boxes offered so I was desperate to try them. Once I had ordered mine, I was able to enter some information in order to make sure products I would receive products I like. I ordered one and it arrived a few days ago and I couldn't wait to share this box and the amazing products I received, I would love to make these a monthly feature on my blog so I hope you all enjoy this blog post!!

The May Birchbox was the "For the Dreamers..." box which included a lovely booklet on the products included in this box as well as I also received a 20% off voucher which I can use to buy products from the website. My Birchbox cost £12.95 including delivery which I think is so affordable as I received loads of wonderful products including a free Jelly Pong Pong luminater gel in Glow Getter which is a beautiful subtle shimmery highlighter, I absolutely love it. I would recommend subscribing to Birchbox if you want to try new beauty products regularly as I love trying new products and this product is amazing!!

There were so many amazing beauty products that I received in my May Birchbox, I can't wait for next months! The booklet I received in the box was helpful as it provided information on all of the products as well as suggested the best way to use the products. All of the products were in a drawstring bag inside the box.

1. Spectrum Cosmetics Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge

The first product in my box was a product from Spectrum Collections which was the Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge, this is a gorgeous sponge, similar to the beauty blender I have at the minute, just a little bit smaller. I love this sponge, it's so soft, I absolutely love using this sponge to apply my make up as it's absolutely lovely to apply make up. When I ordered this box, I was given the option to choose a pink or lilac sponge, I chose the lilac one as I already had a pink one. This sponge came in the cutest packaging in a lovely little plastic packet, I love this sponge, it's so simple and easy to use, I love using this sponge to apply my foundation as it's great to use for a flawless finish!

2. The Balm Cosmetics Staniac in Beauty Queen

Another product I found in my Birchbox was a product from the Balm Cosmetics, Staniac in Beauty Queen, this is a beautiful lip and cheek tint, I love the shade of this product, it's a gorgeous dark red shade, I absolutely love it. I love this product as it is absolutely amazing and looks really nice when used as a cheek tint. I really like the Balm Cosmetics, the products are absolutely amazing, I have a few products from this range and the quality of their products is so good!!

3. Philip Kingsley PK Prep Polishing Balm

I absolutely love using this product, I love using different hair products and this one is amazing!! This hair product is more like a gel than a cream base product and it smells divine. This product is great at making my hair look shiny, glossy and sleek, I love it! I like to use this product after I have blowdried my hair as it's great to style my hair. I also love to use this product in the mornings to make my hair look super glossy and sleek! I've heard so many good things about Philip Kingsley products so I can't wait to try some more!!

4. Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

This product is absolutely insane, I absolutely love it, it's an amazing exfoliating cleanser, it's great for making skin brighter and smoother!! I have used this product a few times since I got it and I absolutely love it, the product recommends using it regularly therefore I can't wait to use this product more often!

5. Kueshi Foot Care Cream

I love this product, the foot cream is so nice and nourishing, it's really rich and leaves my feet feeling so smooth! This product smells absolutely lovely, this product is very soothing and rich, I would recommend this product to anyone who is wanting to try a new foot cream!!

I was also given two extra products in the Birchbox, one of the products was a product from Sarah Chapman, this product was Skinesis Spot SOS Stickers, I haven't used this product yet but I can't wait to use it, I've read so many great things on how they diminish spots and minimise redness, I want to use this product, I think I will use them a few times and then I think I will feature them in a skincare routine blog post in a few weeks.

Another product I was given for free when I bought this box as a promotional offer was the Jelly Pong Pong Luminizer Gel in Glow Getter, this product is absolutely amazing, I love highlighters and this one is so subtle and natural and very different to any other highlighters or illuminators I've used previously, yet it has an absolutely gorgeous shimmer, I think this product would be a great highlighter to use daily.

TWO OF MY FAVOURITE SKINCARE BRANDS: CLINIQUE AND SIMPLE!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a fabulous weekend!! I'm so happy because I have a week off Sixth Form this week cause it's half term and I just can't wait to chill out, it's so nice to have a break!! Today I wanted to do a blog post on two of my favourite skincare brands: Clinique and Simple. Both of these brands are amazing and I love their products so I thought I would do a similar blog post to the lip crayon one I did a few weeks ago as I really enjoyed writing that blog post!

This Clinique skincare set contains: 

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap

Clinique Clarifying Lotion

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream

Products 8.5/10 - Clinique is one of my favourite skincare brands because the products are amazing quality and leave my face feeling absolutely amazing. When I started using these products I wasn't entirely sure about what I thought of them but I have been using these products for a couple of months and I absolutely love them. The only thing is the clarifying lotion is quite strong therefore I don't use a lot of product as I have really sensitive skin.

Affordability 8/10 - I think this skincare set is a bit expensive for the size of the products however the full size products are quite expensive when bought separately therefore I would recommend this skincare set as it is quite good value for money in that sense. I think I paid £20 for this set which I think is quite good, I would recommend buying a set if you are wanting to try the products as its cheaper than buying full size products just in case you don't like them and to make sure you don't waste your money.

Overall product rating 8.5/10 - I really like this skincare set as all of these products are amazing, my favourite product is the moisturiser as I use it everyday and it leaves my face feeling so smooth and soft!! I would definitely recommend this skincare set!

Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser

Products 9/10 - These products are very good value for money. As I have sensitive skin I love these products as they are so gentle and kind to skin. I would definitely recommend this skincare set if you are wanting to try out new skincare products as it includes travel size products which I think are great for when you are wanting to try new brands as you don't have to buy full size products to find out what the products are like.

Affordability 9/10 - This set is very affordable, I can't quite remember how much this skincare set is but I think it's under £5. I have to say this set is perfect if you are going on holiday as all products are travel size and the perfect size for trying out new products!

Overall rating 9/10 - I think this skincare set is absolutely amazing, it's perfect for me and anyone else who has sensitive skin as the products are really gentle to skin and this set is so affordable for any budget! I love all of the products in this set as they are absolutely incredible!

Both of these brands have amazing skincare products, I would definitely recommend them both, I think Simple would be best if you are on a budget and have sensitive skin and Clinique would be best if you want something more luxurious and have more money to spend.

STARS OF CLINIQUE GIFTSET REVIEW!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic week, I'm so excited to break up for half term tomorrow, I honestly can't wait for a break. Today I wanted to do a quick blog post on the Stars of Clinique Gift Set I got for Christmas as it is absolutely amazing and all of the products are fantastic quality.

This set included many wonderful products such as:

Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion - This is one of my favourite products at the minute, I have been using different Clinique skincare products since last October and I absolutely love their skincare range. This moisturiser is absolutely fantastic and I have to say this is one of the best moisturisers I have ever used!

Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Colour Balm in 07 Super Strawberry - This is also one of my favourite products at the minute, this lip balm is a beautiful colour and I love how moisturising it is, it's one of the best lip balms I've used in ages.

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Cream - I actually haven't used this product yet but I'm sure it will be amazing as I love all the Clinique products I have used so far as they are absolutely amazing quality.

Clinique High Impact Mascara - I used this product last year and I absolutely loved it so when I was given this gift set I was so happy because I love this mascara as it's absolutely amazing! I have been using this mascara everyday since I got it and it's absolutely fabulous, I am definitely going to buy the full size one when this runs out.

Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover - This make up remover is absolutely incredible, I usually use make up wipes or Garnier Micellar Water to take my make up off but recently I have been using this product and it's actually very good. I use this product everyday to take my make up off and I have to say its absolutely brilliant.

Clinique is one of my favourite brands, their skincare and make up products are fantastic, the products are amazing quality and I love them! I really like this gift set as these products are absolutely amazing and I can't wait to try more Clinique products in the future.

MY CLINIQUE SKINCARE REVIEW!

Hiya everyone, I hope you are having a lovely weekend. This blog post will be my opinion on the my favourite skincare products. I bought the Clinique skincare set a month ago at The Cosmetic Company Store at the Chester outlet. I chose the dry combination set as I have dry skin and I wanted to see if these products would improve my skin. I am always very interested in trying different skincare products as I'm always trying to improve my skin and make it clearer.

The Clinique Liquid Facial Soap

The Clinique Clarifying Lotion 

The Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion 

The Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream

I have been using these products twice a day for the past month and here is my opinion on these products. I love the liquid facial soap as it's so gentle and kind to skin, I think this is perfect for me and I have noticed a massive difference in my skin, I love it. 

I also love the clarifying lotion, this is great for using after I've used the liquid soap as it makes my skin look great and feel amazing. The only thing I would say is a negative of this product is the smell is quite strong.

I then use the moisturising lotion, I love this moisturiser as its so nice and kind to skin. Another good thing is I only have to use a small amount of moisturiser as its very moisturising. 

I also use scrub cream once a day and I love it. I'm not usually a massive fan of facial scrubs but this one is amazing, my skin feels so soft after I've used it and it looks so much clearer.

Cheshire Oaks Outlet Purchases: MAC Face and Body Foundation and Clinique Skincare Products

Hiya everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic week, I'm so sorry I haven't been uploading regularly recently, I am hoping to go back to my schedule of posting on a Saturday next week. Last week, I went to the Cheshire Oaks outlet because I went to an open day at Chester University on Saturday so I thought going to Chester on Friday would be good as I was able to have a little shopping trip. I went to the Cheshire Oaks Outlet and I visited the Cosmetics Company Store which is where I bought a new foundation and some new skincare products. 

The first product I bought was MAC's Face and Body Foundation, I have never used any MAC products before and I have been wanting to try this foundation for ages. There wasn't a massive choice of shades of foundation so I ended up getting one that was a little bit too light for me, but I used it the other day and I have to say it looks really natural looking. I am going to be using this foundation in my future make up blog posts so I will keep you updated on my thoughts and opinions on this foundation. I got the Face and Body Foundation in the shade N2, I also love the size of the foundation as its 50ml so I think this is going to last me ages, this foundation only cost me £15.50 which is £6.50 cheaper than it usually is in other shops so I would definitely recommend going to a shop like the Cosmetics Company Store if you are wanting to find a bargain.

I also bought some skincare products from Clinique, I am always wanting to try new skincare products and someone recommended Clinique's skincare range to me a few months ago so I've been wanting to try the new products for ages. I'm glad I got this gift set because the products are so gentle and make my skin feel amazing! The skincare gift set includes: Liquid Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion, Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion and a 7 Day Facial Scrub Cream, I used all of these products yesterday and I really like them, I was thinking of doing a post on them in a few weeks to see if I still like them and if I like them better than any other skincare products I have used previously. This gift set was also a really good price, it was £22.50 which is £7.50 cheaper than it usually is in other shops.
