MY STUDENT NIGHT BARGAINS!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing week, it feels as if I have been at Uni for ages and I have only been here a week and a half, I literally can't believe it! I am honestly having such a good time, I'm really enjoying myself! Yesterday I went to Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre for the student lock-in night and I have to say it was so good, I bought a few clothes and some makeup.

H&M
This was the first purchase I bought last night, I saw this in H&M and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to buy it, I really like the slogan on this jumper "DARE TO BE DIFFERENT", I love this slogan! I love grey sweatshirt, I love oversized sweatshirts, I think they look great with jeans and converse, the perfect casual day time outfit! This sweatshirt was only £5.99 which I think is amazing, it's so affordable, H&M sell quite a lot of their jumpers and tops for like £5.99 or £7.99 which I just think is amazing for clothes!

New Look
I then went to New Look and bought a few things, I love the clothes in New Look at the minute, there are so many clothes I like at the minute, as soon as I saw this top I knew I had to buy it, this top is absolutely gorgeous!! It's a bit different to what I would usually wear but I absolutely love it, I think it will look gorgeous with jeans and boots for a casual outfit or with a skirt and heels for a night out. I also tried on a pink top which was similar however they didn't have it in my size so I think I will definitely buy this top in pink next time I go to town if they have my size as I love the style of this top! This top originally was £17.99 which isn't really that expensive and I got 20% with my student discount which I think is really good.

I also bought some jeans, these were more of a practical purchase as I did need to buy some new jeans so I bought these as they had 20% off, these were originally £19.99, I love the Super Skinny jeans from New Look, these are the jeans that fit me the best and I absolutely love them! I also think the quality of these jeans is so good, especially for the price!

I also bought this top which I just think is so nice, I really like it and think it would look perfect to wear if I was going out during the day or a night with a nice skirt and heels, I like the pattern on this top, I think it's really nice and different, I love it!! I love black and white tops, I think they look so nice and are easy to wear and piece outfits together. This top was only £14.99 and I received 20% off so it was an absolute bargain!!

KIKO Milano
I then went to KIKO which is one of my favourite makeup shops at the minute, their makeup is amazing quality and so affordable! I absolutely love the eye shadow it's a gorgeous champagne colour, it's absolutely beautiful, it's very similar to the shade of the Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter I have which I absolutely love. This eyeshadow is so long lasting and is so easy to apply and blend!! I also bought a gorgeous nude shimmery lipstick which is absolutely beautiful, I love it, it's so moisturising, the only thing is it doesn't last very long which isn't very good as I like lipsticks which are long lasting, however it is alright for the price.
I decided to do a swatch of these products (Left to Right): Smart Lipstick in 924 and High Pigment Wet and Dry Eye Shadow in 33.

Thanks so much for reading!

MY FIRST WEEK AT UNI!! - FRESHERS 2016

Hey everyone, first of all I just want to say I can't believe I have been at Uni a week, that is absolutely crazy!! But honestly I have had one of the best weeks of my life, I have had some of the best nights out ever with my flatmates, it's been absolutely incredible.

Last Sunday was my first night and we went to Pryzm in Leeds which is absolutely insane, the music was so good, it was chart music remixed it was so good, I spent most of the night dancing. When I go out I love to dance, I don't really care what others think, I just want to have a good time. Pryzm is probably my favourite place I have been to since I have arrived in Leeds, the music was amazing and it was so much fun! We paid £8 to get in to Pryzm on Sunday which was totally worth it as I had the most amazing night!!

In Pryzm with Emma (my flatmate)

We also went to the The Backroom on Tuesday which was good however it wasn't my favourite place, it played RnB, HipHop and a bit of chart music too! It was quite a small venue as well compared to Pryzm, it was good because there was a big group of us but other than that it wasn't really my vibes tbh! It cost £5 for a ticket to the Backroom which was alright as I did have a good night, I just think I liked other places better.

On Thursday we went to Revolution de Cuba which was good, it's a Cuban bar which was so nice, it is a little bit expensive but the music was so good! It's like a bar with a small dance floor, it would probably be best to go for drinks instead of for a night out as it's quite chilled! However the music was really good and I had a great time dancing!

On Friday I went to Pryzm again which was insane, it was so busy but it was worth it. It was £5 to get in which I thought was so good on a Friday!! It was one of the girls on my courses birthday so we decided to go to Pryzm to celebrate and it was so good!! I really like Pryzm, the music is always good and the atmosphere is always amazing!! We went to the Curve room in Pryzm which was absolutely awesome, the music was like RnB, it was absolutely awesome!

Me and Shannon in Pryzm on Friday for her birthday!

Yesterday we went to Projekt at the O2 Academy which is absolutely incredible, it was so good, the music was amazing! I danced all night, I had a great time. The music was House and I absolutely loved it. It was £6 entry and it was kind of like a festival, it was so good! I think this was my favourite event I went to this week, it was absolutely amazing, I loved it!!

Me and Shannon at Projekt on Saturday!

MY UNI ROOM!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing week. There was no blog post on Sunday as that was when I moved to University. Decorating my room was one of my favourite things to do when I moved, I have tried to make it as homely and comfy as I could. Moving to Uni was a massive decision for me to make but I think I've made the right one, all my flatmates are so nice and we all get on so well, I'm really lucky we all get on because it just made moving here so much easier!!

Many people may know I have moved to Leeds for University, I have done blog posts on Uni and how I made the decision to choose where but honestly it was probably one of the best decisions I've made moving to Leeds! Today I wanted to share with you all how I have decorated my bedroom, decorating my bedroom was so much fun and I really enjoyed doing this as I was able to make it my own.

Bedding £20 - Sainsbury's
Pink Lamp £7 - IKEA

I bought a double duvet to Uni as I wanted to make sure I was extra comfy, I bought this bedding set from Sainsbury's and it's literally the prettiest duvet set ever, the pillow cases are absolutely gorgeous as instead of having buttons on the pillow cases, these pillow cases have ties to tie them into bows!! On my bedside table I have a lamp, some tissues, a book, just basic essentials that I might need!

I also decided to hang up some fairy lights in my room as I wanted to make it look nice, I love these as they make the room look nicer. I decided to hang them up on the notice board in my room, I can't decide what else to put on display, I was thinking of printing loads of photos and sticking them up so I might do that.
Fairy Lights £5.99 - The Range
I also have two book shelves in my room so I decided to decorate them with my stationary and files for Uni, I chose nice pretty ones as I wanted to make sure the shelves looked nice. I also have a framed quote on display, I am someone who loves quotes and this one is everything I am about, I love it! I also put a few cards from my friends from home up as I wanted to make it feel homely and I love cards, they mean so much to me so I thought for the first week I would display them. I also have these gorgeous silver crackle candle holders which I think are insane, I absolutely love them!!

Files and Stationery £1.25 each - Wilko's
Silver Crackle Candle Holders £1.59 - The Range
Framed Quote £1.99 - Card Factory
This is the other shelf I have in my room, I was given loads of candles as leaving presents from my friends so I bought them with me to Uni to decorate the room and make it smell nice. I also bought all of the Birchboxes I have received over the past few months as they are so pretty and look so nice so I thought they would brighten up the shelves.

Also I do have a desk in my room, I haven't finished sorting it out because it's where I'm going to have both my makeup and stuff I need for Uni, so I will be doing a blog post on my makeup storage and stuff like that in a few weeks. I also have a wardrobe which is absolutely tiny, it's about 1/4 of the size of my wardrobes at home. So sorry this has been a short post, I have been out loads for Freshers and I'm having an amazing time!!

BIRCHBOX REVIEW - SEPTEMBER 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing week, I hope you all have enjoyed my recent blog posts, I know they were a bit different to my usual beauty posts but I absolutely loved sharing them with you. I received my September Birchbox about a week ago and I have been using the products ever since as I wanted to share my honest opinions on these amazing products!

I loved the design of this months Birchbox, it's absolutely beautiful, I love the pastel colours, they are so pretty!! I find the boxes great for storing things in or for decoration, I think they are so nice! Birchbox is so affordable, it's £12.95 a month and you receive a range of hair and beauty products, I love getting my Birchbox as I love trying new products and I don't always have the time to go shopping so I love how every month I receive at least 5 products a month!

Nailtiques Protein Formula 2 (worth £12.50)
I really like this product, I have been using it every two days for the past week and I really like it, my nails look shinier and healthier. I can't wait to see the results, I normally wouldn't use a product like this as I don't paint my nails often but I think this product is great as it helps to repair your nails by making them stronger. I don't know if I would buy this product again as it is quite pricey so I think I might look for a cheaper alternative as although this product is amazing, I don't think I would use it often enough to spend a lot of money on it.

NUXE Prodigieux Shower Oil (worth £10)
I really like this product as it's so shimmery and smells amazing, I have been using this product over the past week and I have to say it leaves my skin feeling smooth and is so gentle. This product is great as it cleanses your skin and leaving your skin feeling super smooth and amazing, I love it!!

Model Co Highlighting Trio (worth £17)
This highlighting trio is absolutely amazing, I took these photos before I used it because I didn't want to show it once I had used it but I have to say I absolutely love it, it's amazing!! This product is so creamy and easy to blend, perfect to highlight my face, the only thing which I think could be improved is the size of the product as it's quite small for a full sized product! I love Model Co products, I recently started using one of their mascaras and it's absolutely amazing, it's my favourite mascara as it lengthens my lashes without making them look clumpy. However, I would say this product is quite expensive as it's quite small so that is the only negative of this product.

Shades left to right: Bronze, Peach Bellini and Champagne

Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray (worth £14.99)
This is one of my favourite hair products at the minute, as you can tell if you have been reading my posts for ages, I have received a lot of hair products in my Birchboxes and I love trying new products especially when it comes to hair products, this product smells amazing and leaves my hair looking volumised and feeling smoother and softer, I absolutely love this product. It's the perfect size to put in your handbag and use when you are out and about to give your hair a lift!

Bioderma Hydrabia Serum (worth £18)
This product is amazing, it leaves my skin feeling super fresh and hydrated, I love it as my skin feels so soft!! This product is amazing to use before moisturiser, I use this everyday both morning and night which leaves my skin feeling amazing, I love using this product as it's quite rich therefore I only have to use a small amount.

ARSENAL LEGENDS VS MILAN GLORIE

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing weekend, I am so happy with how well my London blog post has been received, today I thought I would focus on my first Arsenal game at the Emirates, I have never done a blog post on any of the Arsenal games but I thought this would be a great blog post to share as I loved this game, it was amazing and I really enjoyed it!

I have been an Arsenal fan since I was little, I have always enjoyed watching football and when my brother became an Arsenal fan, I started to watch Arsenal more and more and suddenly I became an Arsenal fan too. I love the way Arsenal play, I went to my first Arsenal game in October 2014 against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, we won 2-0, Sanchez scored both goals and I went again this year in April which ended 0-0!

I booked Arsenal Legends tickets for my brothers birthday and I couldn't wait to finally visit the Emirates and see my first Arsenal match there, it was absolutely incredible!! The Emirates is an absolutely beautiful stadium, it is one of the best stadiums I have ever visited, however if I'm honest I think the atmosphere could be improved, a singing section would be great to improve the atmosphere!!

The match was amazing, it ended Arsenal Legends 4-2 Milan Glorie, Kanu scored a hat-trick and Pires scored the final goal, it was amazing to see some of the amazing players Arsenal have had. I loved seeing some of the amazing players like Kanu, Pires, Gilberto, Keown, Seaman, Parlour, Overmars and Ljunberg! I thought the match was incredible, we sat in the clock end which was awesome. I'm really hoping to go to another game this season at the Emirates, I had such a good time.

I also bought some souvenirs from the game, if you have been to an Arsenal game then you will know there are loads of stalls outside the emirates selling souvenirs. I bought two photographs: one of the Invincibles and another of our 2015 FA Cup win. One of the stalls had some amazing photographs, some were even framed and signed but I chose these two because I liked them the best!

The Invincibles Photograph
The Invincibles in my opinion are the best ever Premier League team, to go unbeaten for a season in one of the hardest leagues is an absolutely incredible achievement! The Invincibles were AMAZING and I knew as soon as I saw the photo that I had to buy it!

FA Cup 2015 Photograph
I also bought this photo because this was Arsenal's latest trophy and I enjoyed watching this final better than the 2014 final as I was convinced we were going to win whereas the 2014 final was so nerve wrecking especially when we went 2-0 down so quickly, the comeback was amazing as it was incredible when Ramsey scored the winner but I just think the 2015 final against Aston Villa was more enjoyable as we won 4-0 and we didn't really have anything to worry about!

MY TRIP TO LONDON - SEPTEMBER 2016!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing week!! First of all, I want to apologise for not posting on Sunday, I was away and the Wifi was a nightmare so I thought it would be best for me to post this blog post today! This blog post is about my recent trip to London, it was a lot more chilled than my trip to London in July and to be honest I loved it. London is one of my favourite cities, I never get tired of visiting this city, there is always so much to see and do!

We travelled to London by train, we booked our train tickets in June and our tickets were cheaper than when me and my friend booked ours, these tickets were booked about 12 weeks in advance and we paid £17 per adult each way which is so affordable!! We also stayed at a Travelodge in London as they are so affordable and always close to attractions and central London, we stayed at the Travelodge Central City Road which was situated between both Moorgate and Old Street stations, it was so close to the City. We booked our trains and hotels on www.travelodge.co.uk and www.trainline.co.uk. Personally, I think it is best to book your hotel well in advance in order to get the best prices, we booked ours about 12 weeks in advance as well.

Day 1: Thursday 1st September

First of all, when we got to London we bought our Oyster cards, this is so easy and simple to do. If you are stuck there is always loads of people to ask as well as the machines are quite simple to use, they are so user friendly. Oyster cards cap your spend at £6.50 so this is great if you know you will be travelling around London a lot throughout your trip. I think we put on about £35 which included my £5 deposit and £30 credit. I know it sounds a bit pricey but this managed to pay for all my tube travel between Thursday to Monday and I managed to get about £6 back when I stopped using my card before travelling home, this can be done using the tube machines, it's so easy to do! We bought these at Kings Cross tube station and got the tube to Old Street, we then walked from the tube station to our hotel which was about a ten minute walk from the tube station, our hotel was quite easy to find as it was on the main road.

After we had dropped our bags, we headed to Covent Garden then walked to Trafalgar Square, then to Westminster and had a look at some of the amazing sights which can be seen below. We then got the tube to Liverpool Street and went for a drink at the pub inside the train station, I can't remember what it's called but its really nice and has an outside terrace. After this we walked through Whitechapel and went to one of my dads favourite curry houses, Gandhi's which is situated on Brick Lane, the food was delicious and the service was great!

Poppadoms and Pickles

My starter was this Onion Bhaji, this was the nicest onion bhaji I have ever had, I love Indian food and this was amazing, the portions aren't massive but the food was delicious!!

I had Chicken Balti and Garlic Naan, this is my go to dish when I go to an Indian restaurant, it was absolutely delicious. Gandhi's was an absolutely fabulous restaurant, the staff were incredible, they were so nice and the restaurant is absolutely lovely inside.

Day 2: Friday 2nd September

On the Friday we had a really chilled morning, we visited Buckingham Palace on the morning which was fabulous as always, I love visiting London and this is one of my favourite places to visit. I love getting the tube to Green Park then walking through the park to see Buckingham Palace, it's great fun! After this we walked from Buckingham Palace to Westminster which was fab, it was quite a long walk but we saw so many amazing sights, it was worth it! When we got to Westminster we went to the Slug and Lettuce for lunch which was lovely, we then walked around Westminster and bought some frozen yoghurt and sat taking in the breathtaking views. At about late afternoon, we went on the London Eye River Cruise which was amazing, it's always lovely to see the sights and get some amazing photos.

We then went back to the hotel to get ready and went to a lovely Italian across the road from my hotel, Giovanni's which is situated on City Road. This was an absolutely gorgeous Italian, the staff were so nice and the food was absolutely incredible!!

Lunch at the Slug and Lettuce - Mozzerella and Tomato Panini with Skinny Fries, this was a lovely meal, it was so affordable too, I think it was about £7 for this meal and the drinks were also really affordable, I would totally recommend this as it's very affordable and the food was delicious!!

Beautiful picture of Westminster and the London Eye

Giovanni's - Vegetable Pizza, this was absolutely gorgeous and the restaurant was so nice. The food was lovely, it was so nice, I totally recommend to anyone staying on City Road as it's so near to the hotel and so affordable.

Giovanni's - This was an image of the food and drinks we had at the meal, the Pepperoni pizza looked amazing and was so nice and the pasta was also delicious!!

Day 3: Saturday 3rd September

On the Saturday we went to the Emirates Stadium to see Arsenal Legends vs Milan Legends, this was the main reason we were going to London as in May I had bought my brother tickets for his birthday as well as I also bought my dad one as I thought he might like to come too! We had breakfast then headed to Kings Cross to get the tube to Arsenal, it was amazing once we had got off the tube, there was loads of stalls selling merchandise and I was so happy when I saw the Emirates. Me and my brother have been Arsenal fans since we were little so to finally be visiting the Emirates was pretty special, I was so thrilled to be watching the Arsenal legends, these are players who have been so successful for the club and many who I never got a chance to see so I thought it was amazing watching the Legends match!

The match was absolutely amazing, it ended Arsenal Legends 4 - 2 Milan Glorie, Kanu scored a hat-trick and Pires scored the final goal, it was amazing to see some of the amazing players Arsenal have had. I loved seeing some of the amazing players like Pires, Kanu, Ljunberg, Gilberto, Keown and Overmars. The match was incredible, we were sat in the clock end which was awesome, I hope to go see another Arsenal game this season, I had such a good time!!

After the match we met up with my mum who had been shopping and went to Covent Garden for dinner, we had a look at a lot of places to eat at Covent Garden and we ended up going to Punch and Judy bar and restaurant for dinner, it was so nice, we sat outside as the weather was lovely! The food was absolutely delicious and I had a really good time. Saturday was my favourite day!!

Day 4: Sunday 4th September

We didn't really have much planned for the Sunday so we got the tube to South Kensington and had a walk around there, if you haven't been I definitely recommend it, the houses are beautiful and the area is amazing!! We went to Harrods for a look around and I have to say I was seriously impressed, all the staff were really nice and helpful and the building was absolutely beautiful inside, the lifts were grand and the the floors were marble which made the shop look so sophisticated!! We had a look at all the designer bits and my favourite one was the Ralph and Russo section, I mean their shoes are absolutely incredible, they are so beautiful, I would love to own a pair and the dresses were insane, literally they were so nice, I absolutely loved them!!

On the afternoon we went back to the hotel to pack and get changed to go out and we went to Livepool Street again and had a walk to Whitechapel near where the curry houses are. We went to Gandhi's again as the food is amazing and they do really good deals on meals, I think both times we went, we got 2 free drinks each, free poppadoms and pickles and 25% off the bill which is absolutely insane, it was such good value!!

Kensington, London

Kensington, London

Gandhi's - Chicken Jalfrezi, this was the hottest curry I have ever had in my entire life, my brother and dad both had madras and they said mine was the hottest, I couldn't believe it, it was so hot and I love hot curries, I always either have a Balti or a Jalfrezi but this curry was far too hot for me. I mean it was still a lovely meal and I really enjoyed myself but next time I visit this restaurant I will definitely be ordering a Balti and the Jalfrezi was far too hot!! Lol!

Day 5: Monday 5th September

This was the day I went home from London and our train was at 10 so we left the hotel early and headed to Kings Cross for breakfast. Kings Cross is an amazing station it had so many places to eat and drink as well as little shops. We got the train back to Durham and went home, this trip was amazing and I absolutely loved it, I can't wait to go back!!

This was an absolutely amazing trip, I love visiting London, it's a fabulous city and I always have an amazing time! I hope you have all enjoyed reading this blog post, I had a lot of fun writing this blog post, it was nice to see the photos and spend time thinking of the amazing times I had!
