BIRCHBOX FIRST IMPRESSIONS - OCTOBER 2016

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing weekend, today I thought I would do a first impressions blog post on this months blog post, this box is so cool, I love the pattern of the box, it's so beautiful!! My star sign is Aquarius so I received the Air box which is so good, I love the packaging of this months box, it's absolutely gorgeous!!

Lord & Berry 20100 Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick in Intimacy (worth £12)

This lip crayon looks absolutely amazing, the shade of this lip crayon is absolutely gorgeous, I love it, it's a gorgeous rose pink shade, the perfect shade for a autumn makeup look. I love trying new lip products and lip crayons are one of my favourite products. I love the packaging of this lip crayon, it's so simple and sophisticated. 

Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream (worth £19.50)

This is one of the biggest products I have ever received in a Birchbox, this product smells amazing, it has very light floral scent, I love it! This cream is so moisturising and leaves my skin feeling amazing, I used this product yesterday and I absolutely love it. I love body creams and moisturisers and I just love trying different brands and seeing the differences in the products. This body cream leaves skin feeling silky soft and smooth, I love it!!

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray (worth £19)

This product smells amazing, I absolutely love it, it has a gorgeous strong fresh floral scent, it smells lovely. This product is said to be half dry shampoo and half texturiser so I can't wait to try this product and see what it does, this product is supposed to give a lift to unwashed hair so I can't wait to use it and see what it's like. I love the packaging of this product, I love gold and black packaging, I think it looks so sophisticated and makes products look more expensive, I love it!!

Birchbox Eyebrow Brush (worth £1.99)

If you have been following my blog for a while you will know I don't do anything to my eyebrows apart from getting them waxed every two weeks, I never fill them in or anything, I have naturally dark eyebrows so I don't really feel like I have to do anything to them. I was happy to receive one of these brushes though as I forgot to bring mine to Uni so it saves me having to buy one. 

Doux Me Pure Spring Mist (worth £16)

I have tried this product and I love it, it's so refreshing and leaves your face feeling so hydrated!! This is great for using before moisturising, I can't wait to use this product everyday and see if it changes how my makeup looks or how my skin looks or feels. I think the packaging of this product is absolutely beautiful, I love the white and pink polka dots, I think this looks so nice!! 

Number 4 Fluoro5 Elixer Restore and Repair Oil (worth £18)

I can't wait to try this product, I'm always excited to try new hair care products as I don't really do much to my hair so I'm always interested in trying new hair care products. This oil is supposed to be great for applying before styling as it adds shine and makes hair look sleeker and smoother.

BIRCHBOX REVIEW - SEPTEMBER 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing week, I hope you all have enjoyed my recent blog posts, I know they were a bit different to my usual beauty posts but I absolutely loved sharing them with you. I received my September Birchbox about a week ago and I have been using the products ever since as I wanted to share my honest opinions on these amazing products! 

I loved the design of this months Birchbox, it's absolutely beautiful, I love the pastel colours, they are so pretty!! I find the boxes great for storing things in or for decoration, I think they are so nice! Birchbox is so affordable, it's £12.95 a month and you receive a range of hair and beauty products, I love getting my Birchbox as I love trying new products and I don't always have the time to go shopping so I love how every month I receive at least 5 products a month!

Nailtiques Protein Formula 2 (worth £12.50)

I really like this product, I have been using it every two days for the past week and I really like it, my nails look shinier and healthier. I can't wait to see the results, I normally wouldn't use a product like this as I don't paint my nails often but I think this product is great as it helps to repair your nails by making them stronger. I don't know if I would buy this product again as it is quite pricey so I think I might look for a cheaper alternative as although this product is amazing, I don't think I would use it often enough to spend a lot of money on it.

NUXE Prodigieux Shower Oil (worth £10)

I really like this product as it's so shimmery and smells amazing, I have been using this product over the past week and I have to say it leaves my skin feeling smooth and is so gentle. This product is great as it cleanses your skin and leaving your skin feeling super smooth and amazing, I love it!!

Model Co Highlighting Trio (worth £17)

This highlighting trio is absolutely amazing, I took these photos before I used it because I didn't want to show it once I had used it but I have to say I absolutely love it, it's amazing!! This product is so creamy and easy to blend, perfect to highlight my face, the only thing which I think could be improved is the size of the product as it's quite small for a full sized product! I love Model Co products, I recently started using one of their mascaras and it's absolutely amazing, it's my favourite mascara as it lengthens my lashes without making them look clumpy. However, I would say this product is quite expensive as it's quite small so that is the only negative of this product.

Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray (worth £14.99)

This is one of my favourite hair products at the minute, as you can tell if you have been reading my posts for ages, I have received a lot of hair products in my Birchboxes and I love trying new products especially when it comes to hair products, this product smells amazing and leaves my hair looking volumised and feeling smoother and softer, I absolutely love this product. It's the perfect size to put in your handbag and use when you are out and about to give your hair a lift!

Bioderma Hydrabia Serum (worth £18)

This product is amazing, it leaves my skin feeling super fresh and hydrated, I love it as my skin feels so soft!! This product is amazing to use before moisturiser, I use this everyday both morning and night which leaves my skin feeling amazing, I love using this product as it's quite rich therefore I only have to use a small amount.

BIRCHBOX REVIEW - AUGUST 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend, I've had such a busy weekend so I thought it would be a great time for me to post this blog post about my August Birchbox - If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know I have bought Birchbox for a couple of months now as I love the variety of products as I love trying travel sizes of different products as I think this is a great way to try new products without spending a lot of money on full size products - especially if you end up not liking a few of the products!

The August Birchbox was very different to the normal monthly Birchbox as it came in a bag instead of a box, I like this idea as it's always good to have lots of makeup bags and I use makeup bags a lot more than the boxes. However, I was surprised the little bags weren't more colourful and bright as the boxes are absolutely gorgeous and have beautiful patterns on them so I thought the bags would be the same. I received the "Blue Fin" Birchbag which was what the products were sent in.

Anatomicals The Buff Stuff Citrus Body Scrub (worth £3.99)

This was the first product I tried from this months Birchbox, I absolutely love this product as it leaves my skin feeling amazing, it feels so soft and smooth and this product smells absolutely incredible! It has a beautiful fresh citrus scent, the perfect scent for a body scrub! I don't usually like body scrubs as I have sensitive skin and often find them harsh on my skin but this one is amazing, it's so gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling amazing!!

Philip Kingsley One More Day Dry Shampoo (worth £14.50)

I had never used dry shampoo up until I received this product so I thought I would try it out and to be honest, the product does what is says "one more day", it's good if you know you're busy and you won't have time to wash your hair because it leaves your hair looking super healthy and volumised, as if you have just washed it! I would buy this product again as even though it is expensive for a hair product, I think it's definitely worth it!

Yes To Coconut Facial Wipes (worth £3.99)

I haven't tried this product yet but I can't wait to try it. This product is supposed to be amazing to gently cleanse and hydrate my skin. Coconut water is amazing for hydrating your skin and leaving it feeling so fresh and amazing!! I can't wait to try this product, I will post my thoughts on this product either on Twitter or in a skincare blog post!

Balance Me Radiance Face Mask (worth £18)

This product is absolutely amazing, if you have been reading my posts for a while, you will know I love taking care of my skin and I love trying new face masks. This product is absolutely amazing, it cleanses, exfoliates and brightens my skin, leaving my face feeling amazing! For best results I apply this product in circular motions and leave it for 5 minutes before wiping it off with a damp cloth. This face masks develops into a clay based mask which I love, they are my favourite types of face masks.

Marcelle Waterproof Eyeliner in Expresso (worth £10.50)

This eyeliner is absolutely incredible, it's so easy to create precise and even lines as well as use to create smokey eye makeup looks. I am not a massive fan of eyeliner to be honest, I wear it rarely, only if I really want to define my eyes or have bold eye makeup. This product is great as it's quite easy to blend the product and it's also waterproof. I probably wouldn't buy this product again as I don't use eyeliner that often, however I would say this one is super easy to use and amazing quality!!

Merci Handy Antibacterial Hand Cleansing Gel (worth £2.90)

I actually really like this product, it's always great to have a hand gel in your handbag and this one is fab! I like this one as it's packed with vitamins to hydrate and nourish my hands which is great. I find these great for when you want to freshen up before you eat or when you are out and about as they instantly refresh your hands leaving them healthy and clean!

One thing I love about Birchbox is I get to try different brands and products I wouldn't normally buy, this is good as I get to try the products before I buy the full size as well as I'm also able to find new products and if I like them then I can buy them again. I'm so happy I subscribed to Birchbox and I really hope you enjoy these posts, I love writing them and giving my opinion.

BIRCHBOX REVIEW - JULY 2016! & NEW BLOGPOSTING SCHEDULE

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing weekend. Recently my blog posts haven't been posted regularly therefore I have decided to change my blog posting schedule to every SUNDAY and WEDNESDAY, I think this schedule will work best to ensure my posts are regular. Today I wanted to create a blog post on my July Birchbox, it contains so many amazing products and I was so excited to try them. I loved the theme of this box, the box is absolutely beautiful and the products are amazing!

1. Love of Colour Ultra Gloss Lip Pencil in Bohemian Rose (worth £9)

This product was designed by Millie Mackintosh and as soon as I heard about her collab with Birchbox, I was so excited to try this lip product. This lip pencil is amazing, the colour is absolutely beautiful, it's a lovely pale pink shade, perfect for a lovely summery makeup look!! This lip pencil is amazing as it is so moisturising and the colour lasts all day.

2. John Freida Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment (worth £9.99)

I really like this product, it's great for giving your hair volume and lasts for a couple of days. I use this product regularly as I like to give my hair more volume as well as it makes my hair super glossy and soft. I love John Freida hair products, they are one of my favourite hair brands as their brands are amazing quality and so simple and easy to use. I don't really do much with my hair so I like using John Freida products as they are so easy to use and style my hair.

3. Nails Inc Nail Varnish in Eton Avenue (worth £15)

This nail varnish is lovely, I have used it a couple of times since this Birchbox arrived and I absolutely love it, this colour is absolutely amazing, I love it, it's a beautiful duck egg blue shade, it's absolutely gorgeous. The nail varnish is so good as its so long lasting and the quality is amazing! I have used Nail Inc nail varnishes before and they are so good, they last ages and the colours are beautiful!

4. Elemis Hydra-Nourish Night Cream (worth £43)

If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know I love trying different day and night creams as I love to take care of my skin. I use so many skincare products in my skincare routine and I have just started using this night cream. I like this night cream, it's so gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft, this product smells amazing and is very similar to my Garnier Day Cream, I love it!

5. Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask (worth £19.99 for 4 masks)

I haven't used this product yet but I can't wait to try it, the face masks look amazing. I love trying new skincare products as I love to look after my skin. These face masks are supposed to be amazingly hydrating and perfect for dry skin! I can't wait to try these face masks and as soon as I do I will post a review of my thoughts.

BIRCHBOX REVIEW - JUNE 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an amazing weekend!! A few weeks ago I did a blogpost on my first ever Birchbox, and I loved the feedback I received on that post! I love Birchbox, they are a monthly subscription service where subscribers receive beauty products such as makeup, skincare and haircare products! I did a poll a few days ago and this post was the most popular so I hope you all enjoy this blog post and thanks so much to everyone who voted!!

1. Stila - Lip Glaze (worth £15)

This product is absolutely lovely, it's so glossy and moisturising, this is the product I have used the most since receiving this box. I love trying new lip glosses and I have wanted to try lip products from Stila for absolutely ages so I was so happy to receive one in this months box. The colour of this lip glaze is absolutely gorgeous, it's a shimmery coral peach colour which is so lovely as it's so glossy and shimmery!! To apply this product, I had to twist the bottom of the product for a while to release the product, this is good as it means not much product is wasted as it is easier to watch how much product you should use. The only thing about this product is only half of the applicator is filled with lip glaze therefore you don't get a lot of the product so I would love it if it included more product as I have used quite a lot of this product and I don't want it to run out quickly. Although I have to say I would definitely buy this product again as I love the colour and it's so moisturising. One thing I like about this product is it also contains vitamins A, C and E to keep my lips moisturised throughout the day.

2. Percy and Reed - Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hairspray (worth £12)

I don't really use many hair products often therefore when I received this product I was unsure when to use it as I don't really style my hair regularly, however I recently curled my hair and sprayed this product after to keep the curls intact, I really like this product as its easy to brush through my hair after applying this product and helps to keep my hair styled all day! I have had a few products from Percy and Reed in the past and I have absolutely loved them, so I was so happy to receive a product from this brand as the quality is always amazing, I would definitely recommend this brand for hair styling products, their products are amazing and so simple and easy to use.

3. BioNike - Defence Tolerance Essential Cleansing Water (worth £12.50)

I love trying new skincare brands therefore I was so happy to receive this product, I received an amazing exfoliating cleansing product last month so I was happy to receive another cleanser like this cleansing water product. This product is so gentle and leaves my skin feeling amazing, this product smells lovely and is great to use after removing my makeup. I would definitely recommend cleansing water to anyone as this product is so gentle and I only have to use a small amount. This product is amazing as it leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and very refreshed.

4. Monu Professional Skincare - MONUSpa Warming Ginger Body Oil (worth £29.95)

This product looks amazing and smells divine, this product is so nice. I've only used it once therefore I can't wait to use this product again, I liked it before as it leaves my skin feeling amazing. This product is great as it's so gentle and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. I think this is amazing as this product is organic and full of vitamins in order to leave your skin feeling incredible, I can't wait to use this product again!

5. Pure and Light Organic Skincare - Essential Face Cream (worth £29)

This product is absolutely lovely, I have been using this face cream a lot recently and I have to say I love it!! This face cream leaves my skin feeling so smooth and super soft, this product is so rich therefore I only have to use a small amount. I love trying different moisturisers and this is one of my favourite face creams, I absolutely love this face cream as it leaves my face feeling so smooth! Although this face cream is quite expensive, I do think I will purchase this product as I really like it and it leaves my skin feeling amazing!!

MY FIRST EVER BIRCHBOX REVIEW - MAY 2016!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have been wanting to subscribe to a beauty box subscription for ages and the other day I was having a look on the internet and I came across Birchbox. I love trying new products and the Birchbox website was so informative on what products the boxes offered so I was desperate to try them. Once I had ordered mine, I was able to enter some information in order to make sure products I would receive products I like. I ordered one and it arrived a few days ago and I couldn't wait to share this box and the amazing products I received, I would love to make these a monthly feature on my blog so I hope you all enjoy this blog post!!

The May Birchbox was the "For the Dreamers..." box which included a lovely booklet on the products included in this box as well as I also received a 20% off voucher which I can use to buy products from the website. My Birchbox cost £12.95 including delivery which I think is so affordable as I received loads of wonderful products including a free Jelly Pong Pong luminater gel in Glow Getter which is a beautiful subtle shimmery highlighter, I absolutely love it. I would recommend subscribing to Birchbox if you want to try new beauty products regularly as I love trying new products and this product is amazing!!

There were so many amazing beauty products that I received in my May Birchbox, I can't wait for next months! The booklet I received in the box was helpful as it provided information on all of the products as well as suggested the best way to use the products. All of the products were in a drawstring bag inside the box.

1. Spectrum Cosmetics Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge

The first product in my box was a product from Spectrum Collections which was the Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge, this is a gorgeous sponge, similar to the beauty blender I have at the minute, just a little bit smaller. I love this sponge, it's so soft, I absolutely love using this sponge to apply my make up as it's absolutely lovely to apply make up. When I ordered this box, I was given the option to choose a pink or lilac sponge, I chose the lilac one as I already had a pink one. This sponge came in the cutest packaging in a lovely little plastic packet, I love this sponge, it's so simple and easy to use, I love using this sponge to apply my foundation as it's great to use for a flawless finish!

2. The Balm Cosmetics Staniac in Beauty Queen

Another product I found in my Birchbox was a product from the Balm Cosmetics, Staniac in Beauty Queen, this is a beautiful lip and cheek tint, I love the shade of this product, it's a gorgeous dark red shade, I absolutely love it. I love this product as it is absolutely amazing and looks really nice when used as a cheek tint. I really like the Balm Cosmetics, the products are absolutely amazing, I have a few products from this range and the quality of their products is so good!!

3. Philip Kingsley PK Prep Polishing Balm

I absolutely love using this product, I love using different hair products and this one is amazing!! This hair product is more like a gel than a cream base product and it smells divine. This product is great at making my hair look shiny, glossy and sleek, I love it! I like to use this product after I have blowdried my hair as it's great to style my hair. I also love to use this product in the mornings to make my hair look super glossy and sleek! I've heard so many good things about Philip Kingsley products so I can't wait to try some more!!

4. Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

This product is absolutely insane, I absolutely love it, it's an amazing exfoliating cleanser, it's great for making skin brighter and smoother!! I have used this product a few times since I got it and I absolutely love it, the product recommends using it regularly therefore I can't wait to use this product more often!

5. Kueshi Foot Care Cream

I love this product, the foot cream is so nice and nourishing, it's really rich and leaves my feet feeling so smooth! This product smells absolutely lovely, this product is very soothing and rich, I would recommend this product to anyone who is wanting to try a new foot cream!!

I was also given two extra products in the Birchbox, one of the products was a product from Sarah Chapman, this product was Skinesis Spot SOS Stickers, I haven't used this product yet but I can't wait to use it, I've read so many great things on how they diminish spots and minimise redness, I want to use this product, I think I will use them a few times and then I think I will feature them in a skincare routine blog post in a few weeks.

Another product I was given for free when I bought this box as a promotional offer was the Jelly Pong Pong Luminizer Gel in Glow Getter, this product is absolutely amazing, I love highlighters and this one is so subtle and natural and very different to any other highlighters or illuminators I've used previously, yet it has an absolutely gorgeous shimmer, I think this product would be a great highlighter to use daily.
